The Soundtrack of Mundi Mundi: Music Under the Outback Sky
There is something unforgettable about live music rolling across the red dirt. At the Mundi Mundi Bash, the stage lights, the wide-open sky and thousands of people singing together turned the outback into one enormous concert ground.

Wendy Matthews
Wendy Matthews brought a beautiful, timeless presence to the stage. Standing there in the middle of the outback, listening to that unmistakable voice, was one of those moments that made the whole trip feel special.

Jessica Mauboy
Jessica Mauboy lit up the afternoon. Her smile, energy and connection with the crowd were infectious. It did not matter how cold, tired or muddy anyone felt — once she was on stage, everyone came alive.

A celebration of Fleetwood Mac
The Fleetwood Mac celebration was made for a setting like this. Familiar music, dramatic costumes and big harmonies filled the evening as the light faded behind the stage. By nightfall, the beams were sweeping across the sky and the whole festival seemed to glow.

Chocolate Starfish
Chocolate Starfish turned things up another notch. Their set had the kind of bold rock energy that suits the Bash perfectly — loud, lively and impossible to ignore. Even the giant stage screen looked ready to burst into life.

The artist whose name escaped me
Then there was this performer. I cannot remember his name, and I would rather admit that than guess — but I remember enjoying the set. That says something about a festival like Mundi Mundi: you arrive for the names you know and leave with memories of music you may never have expected to hear.

More than a concert
The music was brilliant, but the best part was how it brought everyone together. Strangers sang side by side, friends laughed through the mud, and for a while the everyday challenges — including Parkinson’s — took a back seat.
That is what Shaky Wheels is about: getting out there, collecting stories and proving that life can still be full of noise, colour and adventure.
